What do you like about working at Walmart?
"I started out liking the place and as each year went on I started to hate it more and more.."

"Don't bother... it is a waste of your time... If you want to work for little pay pay and be stressed out with having to work your butt off..."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"A lot of back stabbing.. Be carful what you say and do people their have a funny way of twisting what you say to make you look like an evil troll and make them self look like a shining star."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop being buddy buddy with select people and denying it... Be more understanding to individual situations insted of being quick to pass judgement without hearing all the facts..."

What do you like about working at Sears?
"Working at Sears Optical is a rewarding job. They are loyal to employees. I like the convenient location. It is an efficient store - clean, organized, and accommodating. I like the proximity and the dynamic."

"Be flexible in hours and be willing to work. Show dedication and proficiency."
What don't you like about working at Sears?
"I don't like the pay and benefits, unfair workloads, outdated store front, equipment, and displays. There is no permanent doctor."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Invest in the store front, technology, and new unique displays. Change the location of the store to a more visible location."

"you always felt like you had to watch your back and wonder who was going to try to throw you under the bus.. and trying to get more hours seemed impossible"

"Don't bother because they don't value the individual .. There only worried about how low a pay rate they can hire you at and how hard they can make you work with the least amount of hours possible."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"Fellow associates tend to look for anything that you may do wrong or not good in their eyes and they twist it to make you look like some monster. Your always wondering who is going to try to stab you in the back next."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"hear what the associates are trying to tell him.. Not be so quick to pass judgement and to get rid of people that don't agree with your views.."

"Lot of the associates seem to be friendly for the most part but watch your back"

"Don't even try they will rake you over the coals once they get you to sign"

"Some people get buddy buddy with the management and tell a bunch of lies just to get you in trouble to make themself look good."

"Treat each and every associate with the same respect I show them.. I would not lie to get my way.."

"office is very nice decorated, frames are high quality and must customer are easy going"

"investigate their procedures while filling insurance benefits for patients. If you are ok with charging for benefits don't used, and you place financial gain over patient satisfaction then this is the place for you."

"company doesn't have the patient best interest in mind. Financial gain is often place first"

"patients should be more important than financial gain. You really need to review your practice against filling insurance benefits"

"Once you start at this company, is as far as you will get"

"They hired in nothing but stuffed shirts who didn't care about the science behind what they did."

"There was always someone there to say we needed to start wiping down machines."

"Great educational support and materials available to all associates who want them."

"its a good place to start but don't expect to go to far unless you get on the good side of management and they end up liking you."

"The lack of a consistent schedule and far to few hours leaves me often without enough money to live on. On top of getting all the hours and work that everyone else doesn't want or feel like doing leaves me feeling like there has to be something better out their."

"Lisen to what the associates are telling them. Not being so quick to judge and being more open minded."

"It's a clean work environment with structured procedures and a way to earn a living."

"If your licensed optician needed work desperately.. here is a place."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"The unnecessary details that overbear and overtake the true mission of dispensing eye-wear. I can't stress that enough. There is lack of work flow and is often erratic as to what is priority."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Cut out the excessive number of report and repetitive non essential misc tasks that have nothing to do with managing an optical."
