"Political and social agendas are pushed on everyone. Top of the ladder knows the buzzwords but really doesn't have the skills to take the company into the future."

"Typical Enterprise business model. The company is primarily focused on adding brands to their house of brands and because of that there's little room for professional development outside of your org."

"Good place to get experience, however you won't be able to move up in the company and the CEO will layoff employees in a heartbeat if it means increasing the dollar amount on his bonus at the end of year!"

"OpenText is a good place to work. However, because of my location there were not many opportunities to move up in the company or move to different departments."

"I have worked at Hightail since 2012. I started in the billing department and helped with signups and canceling accounts for the service. I moved up to technical support where I took on complicated technical issues and created Jira tickets with step by step processes in order to replicate bugs that customers experienced. Then I moved over to Social media support. I would say that this was pretty challenging as the responses had to be perfect since anyone can view the Tweets to the Hightail account. But I did so well with this that the company wanted me to train others on how to reply and use the social media tool (Sprout). I created a step by step guide on how to support customers via Twitter and Facebook. I took on more responsibilities at this point and was one of three people who were in charge of our offshore team. This really opened my eyes on how to be a leader for the team, It was great to become a "go-to" person on the escalation team. I have been wanting to get into a Customer Success role for some time now as I would like to expand my knowledge in that area. I took up a Customer Success course on Udemy to help with getting general knowledge for that role. It would be great to bring my knowledge and skillset to a team where I can learn more from and collaborate on great ideas with."
