"Being a part of the NJ underground music scene is fun. I met all kinds of interesting people and heard some great bands."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"You need to be tough and assertive, especially if you work the door at a show. Situations will come up where people will have to be removed, tour managers will give you a hard time, and you'll have people try to sneak in. You can't be afraid to open your mouth. If you are a timid person, this will not be a good job for you."

What don't you like about working at Onyxeye Entertainment?

"The pay is minimal because it's such a small company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There really isn't much management and it's really best that way. it allows everyone to do their job the way they feel it can be done best, without someone saying, no, do it this way. Each employee manages themselves, which works well in a small company."
