Onlife Health Employee

"People at Onlife are great. Talented, smart, good at their jobs. However, the applications are a mess. Solutions tend to be over-engineered and not maintainable. They hire entry-level developers in droves which is admirable, but could be one reason the apps are so bad."

What do you like about working at Onlife Health?

"Gordian was my first 'career' oriented position. I enjoyed my job duties. Educating members with all the fresh and new health education (prevention and intervention) I had received from 4 years of undergrad was very pleasuraeable. It was a great place to begin. I have suggested Gordian to 4 former classmates who were hired and are currently employed there."

What don't you like about working at Onlife Health?

"Gordian focused on the demands within the company and was not flexible or concerned with the needs or concerns of the employees. They often recruited graduates and treated staff 'dispensibly'. I entered graduated school immediately after undergrad and their was absolutey no flexibily in changing shifts, even switching a day with a willing co-worker to complete graduate classes within a semester. I felt that obtaining my Master of Science was more important than staying at an entry-level job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest employee surveys to understand the needs of the staff, and then make attempts to accomadate needs."
