"Too many cooks spoil the broth. Too often, ideas or policies that would improve my work are hampered or blocked by other departments."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Never answer no on the application when it asks if you meet all the listed requirements. Your application won't be considered, even if you meet most of the requirements or have other valuable skills that aren't listed. You can't even reapply."

What don't you like about working at Oklahoma State University?

"It seems like we change procedures on certain tasks every 3-4 months and usually changing to something more pointlessly complicated and labor intensive."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My supervisor often disagrees with her supervisor and so we receive contradictory instructions. As such, there is a lot of negativity about the upper level person, a portion of which is based on personal animosities rather than valid criticism."
