"Don't count on full-time work. those on work permit have priority over you"

"The super spends more time manipulating treatment minutes so that you can forget about having any overtime"

"Definitely not give new hires and those on work permits priority over those with seniority"

"The support from my peers, the work I do with patients, the learning I achieve in my work and the ability to share information with patients and other care providing staff."

"Dress conservatively, be willing to schmooze a lot at first, and keep (liberal) politics to yourself."
What don't you like about working at Glendale Adventist Medical Center?
"My direct supervisor can be capricious in her decision making, and less that supportive at times--at other times she is better. Due to cutbacks, it feels that I have to do more work in less time, which sometimes I find difficult."

"Be a little less conservative in terms of business model."

"Helping people with chronic pain or brain injury regain control over their lives. Love our team approach.Love our status as an independent service provider. We work with all hospitals and excel at getting the stuck patients - unstuck. A life changing place for sure."

"Be prepared to be a team player. You will be amazed at the outcomes when rehab. is done right."
What don't you like about working at Progressive Rehabilitation Associates?
"Reimbursement by insurance companies should be more in rehab. Specialized care when appropriate should be reimbursed at a higher rate."

"Keep doing what you're doing. It's worked for 20 years because you adapt to changing times."
