"NOVO Construction first employed me in 2018 as an intern during college. Moving from the east coast to the west coast was scary but one of the best decisions I have made. During my internship I learned that the company really cares about their employees as well as the clients they interact with. Post-grad I decided to come back to NOVO because of the way the employees treated each other and the family-like feel in the workplace. Sadly due to COVID-19 I have been furloughed since projects from our clients have been on pause. I will miss working for NOVO but feel that everything happens for a reason and now I can fully benefit from all the hardworking in college to receive and engineering degree by exploring other aspects of civil engineering. NOVO showed me exactly what I need to look for in a company."

What do you like about working at NOVO Construction?
"There was a lot of freedom for my department and as long as the work was done, no one had a reason to complain. I was able to work at my own pace and not worry about anyone micro-managing every one of my actions. The work culture was great in that everyone was relaxed but also did great work for the company."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be professional and bring your A game. NOVO only wants the best and gets the best."
What don't you like about working at NOVO Construction?
"Being that it (NOVO) is a construction company, there isn't too much emphasis on the IT department. I want to be put in an environment where I can continue to do great work and also learn new skills on an everyday basis rather than only on seldom projects that NOVO required from IT."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, they're doing great and it just wasn't the place for me."
