"Look for management or engineering opportunities at the larger plants or in the corporate. offices."

"A change in upper management and some managers treating their people poorly"

"look for the real root cause of issues rather than blame individuals"

What do you like about working at Novelis?

"The salary is the only part of this job that I enjoy. But I believe I will also enjoy the travel opportunities involved with being a part of the Engineering Development Program."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The interviewing process is great and makes the company sound a lot more enticing than it actually is. Make sure you research the area that you will be moving to as well."

What don't you like about working at Novelis?

"There are no young people and it is in a remote area. I also don't particularly care for working in the plant because I always feel like I am doing something unsafe."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more organized and be ready with a plan for when a new person starts. It's been two months and I still have only an hours worth of work a day if I'm lucky."
