"I dislike the slow processes and slow reactions to market shifts. It takes long to make decisions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I suggest quicker decisions, and sticking to the strategy it has decided on."

"I started as a R&D Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks and grew up the ladder for 10 years taking up multiple roles like CI engineer, Performance tester, Functional tester, Release engineer, Scrum Master, SI R&D Architect, Product Owner and Technical Project Manager. Nokia values the work done and rewards accordingly."

"Good company, though too many changes in strategy and layoffs spoil good impression. Has problems on the management level, though technically very strong."

"Be yourself and emphasize skills and flexibility to learn new skills."

What don't you like about working at Nokia?

"Should have had more cross training. Corporate down-sizing, over 200 employees were laid off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None, all management was very helpful and always interested in suggestions for improving processes."

"Nokia was a great company to work for. There are lots of opportunities there and many really bright folks. The only problem I found with working there is much of the meetings one attends are with folks overseas, making for odd meeting times. All, in all, I really enjoyed working for them."

"Career growth is very slow. The salary increments are not so good."
