"I've worked since 1999 at NSN and it's a great company. It's why I stayed 14 years in the same company. High level management put in place an environment which allows us to give our best. Salary is nice and there are bonuses each time we win a new deal because of customer satisfaction. I recommend this company."

"There is an overwhelming attitude present in the work environment which promotes openness and sharing of innovative ideas, where boundaries between management, senior staff, and junior staff can be blurred for the sake of progression."

"For the NRC department of NOKIA, a minimum and or equivalent of a master's degree/Ph.D is a necessity"

What don't you like about working at Nokia?

"When companies become too big, it is not easy for management or people at the higher echelon to make radical changes, so there is less flexibility in adapting to market(s) that are constantly fluctuating."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Because NOKIA is a big company, the layers of management should be streamlined to efficiently execute proposals and plans."

"No career growth, stagnant work, no training, compensation is not according to work quality but is according to years of experience."

"Middle layer is not having a view of bigger picture, they always keep fighting among themselves. Learn to work as a team so that ultimately company will get benifit. Also stop hiring your own candidates when they have no talent and urge to learn. Stop supporting people who only talk and don't do any work."

"Nokia has been, as identified in the press, sliding down the market. There is a very much old world philosophy still in place. Politics take precedence of actions. Recent recruits (at my site) are lacking ANY skills - even at Senior level."
