"great! company to work. An in-house investigation has found that some domestic employees of the purchasing department of Shanghai Nitto Optical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shanghai, People’s Republic of China; hereinafter, “Shanghai Nitto Optical”), a consolidated subsidiary of Nitto Denko Corporation (hereinafter, “Nitto”), were involved in inappropriate transactions. While launching the team to internally investigate said transactions, Shanghai Nitto Optical consulted with local legal professionals and investigatory authorities. Subsequently, two local employees who were found to have engaged in the act of misconduct were arrested for embezzlement in the course of business and other charges on January 13, 2020. Such an irregularity is an extremely regrettable occurrence to have had at one of our subsidiaries, and we would like to offer our sincere apologies to all of our stakeholders for the inconvenience that this has caused."

"I worked at Nitto for two years and it was very difficult years. They will find every way to get rid of you if you disagree with management. I worked on my own on projects even though its lab policy that I was to get support and work as a team, but everyone has loyalty to someone else. The only people that give you respect are the union workers because they know that you are working to better the project. I left because they started to work me over 12 hours every day for the last two months I was there and I was paid salary with low pay especially for the amount of cost savings that I did. Then they wanted me to work one weekend a month to do manual inventory because they have an obsession of being 95% accurate but they have no organization, no structure and they are not open to new ideas to what can save them money or improve the quality of there product."
