"I learned to troubleshoot multiple inter-related systems, and increased my ability to focus on details. On a normal day, outside of busy periods, the work environment was fairly relaxed."

"Short sighted action taking the long view. Cutting people with solid skills, in order to bring in higher level management resources that produce less. Outsourcing in order to save revenue but losing quality in process."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Realize that you can only cut so deep before the blood stops running. Nielsen used to be a great company to work for, now it's become a place where there is little to no camaraderie, everyone fears the next re-org and fewer people are happy in their jobs."

"Do your work and keep records of every email and everything you do or say. You have to cya all the time."

"Corp BS, job security is minimal due to constant threats regarding production. No protection from supervisors. Most management is more worried about protecting their jobs only."

"None. They don't listen or care to listen."

"Nice office and location for it. Many changes to learn and see so much of the business."

"Ask to have the pay structure written down in a contract. The pay structure has changed every year since I've been here."

"The management is driven solely by the bottom line now, when in the past they were much more employee friendly and had a lot of events that made you feel like you were part of a family."

"Stop lieing and keeping secrets from the employees. They can tell you're not telling them everything they need to know."

"Cut back on 60 hour work weeks"

"Field Rep position had some flexibility, working from home, creating your own schedule to some degree, they provided you with a car, laptop, mobile phone, and internet service. It would have been excellent if the work load had been more balanced"

"I think it is a great job first job or for someone in college or in the age range 21 - 29, single, because of the demands and pay."

"supervisors, managers just did not seem to have an organized plan of action, we spent too much time trying to do the impossible. We had real equipment issues and most of the time they seemed to be in denial"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have a game plan don't be quota/fault driven. have homes that really want to be in the survey and remove homes that refused to perform properly, instead of keeping them on because they meet a particular demographic/requirement. This caused major issues with area numbers and created unnecessary home visits."
