"This company looks good on the outside, but once you step foot inside the production floor, the work performed and the people that are hired to do the work do not match. In order to be a world class company, you need world class employees and this company does not do well in screening their employees before employment. I would not recommend this company, because they want to make the money, but they are unwilling to update machinery to eliminate downtime issues and safety hazards."

"It was a great experience working for Nestle Purina."

What do you like about working at Nestlé?

"The people and environment were great. I appreciated the real team effort of other departments."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared for a lot of overtime and weekend work. The pay is good and there are allot of people who do a great job. Very little opportunity to move up, unless you are willing to relocate."

What don't you like about working at Nestlé?

"New management trying old processes that do not improve and not listening, or asking senior people what their opinions were, then draw a conclusion on their experience. Team work and background information on past ideas always allows a group to succeed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen, take a poll, understand the process and help assist in new styles or modeling. All manufacturing is different and people are different. Managers need to drive results from their team members strong points and help coach them on their weaknesses. Building up will always produce great results. Threats diminish progress."
