"I liked it a lot more before NCI bought it and it was Karta. Not much good to say about NCI I'm afraid."

"Keep your resume current, you never know when they'll kick you to the curb despite your job performance."

"The company in San Antonio used to be Karta, which was a great company. After NCI bought them out, things just steadily got worse up to the point where the proposals group epic failed to land work needed and they had to lay off a ton of people."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of the bounty program as a lame attempt to make up for your pathetic proposals department and hire some people who can actually get contracts. Also bring back the fun social events that used to tie the team together."

"Started out non-degreed but obtained both degrees while employed there. Was unable to move back into management area."

"I would only consider interviewing with this company if it was as a part of the reorginization team and reported to representation from the venture capitol group."

"Executive politics and deception"

"Corporate management expense is very top heavy and 75% of the current executive management needs to be terminated and overall company needs to be streamlined and treated as one intity, not multiple seperate companies. Come to the realization that operations and production should not be determined by salesmen."

"I wish there would have been more of an opportunity to advance at NCI, however, the type of work wasn't suitable for advancement opportunities."

"The suggestions I would have for management, would be to keep a greater deal of open communication within the company and different departments in order to better and more effectively complete projects."
