"Natural Grocers is a fantastic company founded in the 1950s by a family in Colorado who had a vision for a healthier, more sustainable way for people to get their groceries. I have only worked there a few weeks so far, but everyone there is helpful, efficient, and willing to help me learn rather than doing something for me and moving on to their next task. The employees take the time to get to know one another and the customers. One of my favorite parts of the job is interacting with friendly familiar faces each day, and working alongside other happy individuals who support one another."

"This would be a great job, if the managers were decent. I became extremely tired of them coasting on the hard work of those below them. The majority of managers acted superior to the employees working for them. They would not accept constructive criticism, direction, or advice from anyone. As a department manager myself I felt extremely disrespected, unheard, and unappreciated by the store manager. His lazy, “I could care less” attitude, and defensiveness drained me. The work is physical and hard. The schedule conveniently serves those who write it, however everyone else is not guaranteed a good schedule. You will probably end up closing every night, because no one else is willing to. It’s an environment that takes hard working employees and drains them dry. There is no support, positive reinforcement, or communication. Overall based on the current management situation I would consider it a toxic place to work. I’m glad I relocated and would not recommend working at the Logan store."

"Good goals but to ambitious. Beware that that theywill promise you hours then cut them without warning."

"upper management. Cut in ours but expectation of performance is held to high"
