What do you like about working at National Starch?

"The technology of it all was very fasinating, enjoyed the interactions I had with other employees. Constently learned on a daily basis, loved the knowledge I gained about computers and technology. Made some good personal relationships, had good times working with the people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be self motivated and be able to get along with many different types of people. Be open minded don't take things too serious, except getting the production and quality out. Safety is the number one priority as well."

What don't you like about working at National Starch?

"The 24-7 operation was very taxing. Having to work different shifts on a rotating schedule just wasn't for me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Communication could be a little better at times. But in all it was well run I think. It's hard to juggle a 24-7 operation with a union enviroment as there were always those who were negative and unhappy."
