"Many of my peers have great ideas and desire, but aren't given the freedom to execute."

"Be less afraid to just do things. Too much time spent planning not enough executing."
"It has a lot of potential, but the banking side of the business is brand new to the Insurance Co."

"I enjoyed the people that I worked with. Five years ago it was a small family owned business with great vision. Unfortunately the mortgage situation hit them hard and it was never able to recover"

"No tips. Just recognize the line of business that you are getting into at this point in the economy. It will be a bumpy road for awhile still."
What don't you like about working at Mutual of Omaha?
"In the last year when Mutual of Omaha took over everything was up in the air. It's a big corporation with over 100 years of history taking over a small business in a new arena for them. It wouldn't be fair of me to say what I don't like. I hadn't a chance to really work for the company once everything has settled."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My manager was in desparate need of training. He had no idea how to motivate people or understand what it took to motivate his team to realize the bigger picture. I think the company as a whole is recognizing the deficencies in those management areas."
