"Great leadership capable of making hard decisions. Aggressive growth without sacrificing the quality of employees work-life balance. A unique model of the petroleum business that drills, refines, manufactures and supplies themselves as well as other global companies. A pleasure to work for."

"Overall it's a good company for work life balance"
"I've been at Murphy USA for about 14 months now. I started at a time of internal turmoil, when the Executive Vice President of Fuels was terminated, but the company handled the adversity extremely well and has outperformed expectations in the recent past. I've been given opportunities to utilize my unique skill set while expanding my breadth of knowledge and experience."
"I have worked for this company for almost a whole year now and I feel like the main corporate needs a lot of help when it comes to organizing the company for all aspects."
"I worked there for 2 years. Everything I was praised for doing in the beginning was exactly what I was being condemned for in the end. I went from at least 35/37 hours a week to 14/22 hours a week. Ultimately, this caused me to lose my house, my phone as well as my children having to go without certain necessities. Anytime someone was needed to fill a shift, I almost ALWAYS said yes, but then my hours would be slashed if it wasn't in the manager's best interest. This manager, remaining unnamed, listens to one single employee. Therefore, if that employee likes you (more like isn't threatened by your performance compared to her own), then you aren't on the s*#t list. If opposite, then you better be careful. The one person that, in all actuality is the only competent employee there, was bypassed for the position and is currently an assistant manager, with more sense, experience, and class in her pinky than her superior. Is a very biased work place, but would be very different if the management was corrected."
"I've worked for Murphy Oil USA for over 6 years. Decent company, but lacking in knowledge to retain IT professionals."
