"An honest look at a company which could do better."

What do you like about working at Market Traders Institute?

"I liked the exposure to financial markets - specifically the FOREX. As an industry professional, I was keen to keep my career in the industry."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It's a decent job to keep involved in the financial education industry, and brokers in general - particularly the FOREX. Avoid management like the plague. Keep quiet and do your job and you'll be able to last a couple years, hopefully. There are a lot of cliques there, and it's really who you know if you want security."

What don't you like about working at Market Traders Institute?

"There was a definite lack of managerial experience. Lack of support to employees, or even a sense of dignity imparted to sales staff. The management treated staff as a sales mill. This was unfortunate, because it really could become a great company if they could learn to treat staff better."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Work with the sales staff. Take their suggestions seriously. Give recognition when and where warrated."
