"I worked at Movie tavern for 3 years where i worked many different positions with wildly varying degrees of difficulty for around the same pay. the management was almost never on your side unless it was dealing with customers or other employees where they would take the neutral stance unless they picked favorites."

"God-awful conditions. Every part of the building is heated, despite it being summer, so everyone is sweating like a damn work horse. Breaks aren't on a schedule, and you take a break and someone in your theater needs help, you're obligated to help. What the hell kind of break is that? People aren't always allowed to donate an assigned theater row to someone else, even if the original server wants to go home after working for several hours and not being able to eat anything for that same amount of time and running on little to no sleep due to being kept by the managers until nearly closing (2:00 a.m.) the night before. Stay far, FAR, away from this business. You'll be underpaid and the managers won't give a crap."

"I began working for Movie Tavern in the spring of 2013. It was a fast paced environment, very high in customer service satisfaction, but the fellowship between co-workers and management was the best experience I have ever had. Everyone works as a team, a family unit in truth. It is the sort of place where you come for the work and stay for the people. If a fault can be found, I'd place with the ketchup "parties." No matter what you do when stocking the ketchup for the next shift, you will still get it all over your white shirt."

What do you like about working at Movie Tavern?

"I am appalled by the horrendous pay they give us food servers. Do you know what it is like to get paid $5.25 an hour and rely on tips that might not be less then $35 because of the 1.5% of hole sale tips that are divided upon 22-30 Food servers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I'm a part time food server or food runner as they call us. If you want to be a server, say that you will dedicate your life to this area of work. If you are a food runner, don't say you are looking for a part time job."

What don't you like about working at Movie Tavern?

"Pay sucks so bad that no one in the Hilliard area is stupid or desperate enough to work there. Further more, I and others hate the fact that this company is so wealthy and they choose to pay us every two weeks, while other companies larger and smaller tend two pay ever week."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Wages would increase by at least 25-30% due to the fact that the movie tavern industry has large sums of money. This is due to the fact that these people are more than wealthy and are selfish money hoarders. Food quality would be increased while dropping prices in order to sell more product"
