"I started working for Motorola Solutions as an intern in audio engineering. I was offered a position as a full-time employee with my internship group doing electrical engineering. I was not allowed to shadow a senior employee at all once I started the job, and was quickly tasked with menial labor. Whenever I would ask my manager for more challenging or different work, I was told "everyone does the grunt work." I was laid off after 1-year along with 6 others in my team of 36."

"It's an OK place to work. Workplace was very old and not renovated for a long time. Compensation is very low compared to market. Growth opportunity is very very limited. Work life balance is good. Flexible work hours are great. Abundant vacation time. Health care cost is only covered 70% by employer, other employers pay up to 80% to 90%. Cost of health care is way above market. Employee stock purchase plan is great. Gym in office is OK. Location of job is great."
