"I work for Motherhood Maternity for a short time. They have since decided to close the store and many others. I lived what I did, the clientele was always so great to work with. You have a great work-life balance with this company. Our store was small but very nice. My staff was great with clients and everyone made the location excellent. We made the store numbers increase, but unfortunately, they are still closing."

"NOTHING. the health care was very very affordable when I was there yet I understand that it has increased significantly"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"dont do it unless you have the impenetrable skin of a dinosaur. even then expect to be looking again in 3 years."

What don't you like about working at Motherhood Maternity?

"it was extremely crazy there. most of the managment is insane. literally. tons of micromanagement, ruling through fear, bosses getting upset over being 5 minutes late. improperly given criticism (yelling, etc) in front of your peers. most employees were reduced to a fight or flight level of survival. I would never work there again."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"a good way to describe the situation at this company is the fish rots from the head down. the owners are insane. clinically insane. their main focus is on the shareholders and their profit. I have yet to find a competent person in upper management"

What do you like about working at Motherhood Maternity?

"Motherhood cater to mother's who are some times experiencing their first pregnancy. Making them happy and satisfied with their shopping experience is what I liked most."

"There is nothing that I can say that I didn't like about motherhood. Maybe the turn around of having the correct merchandise."

"My suggestions to management would be to care about the people who work for you and you will get the best result from them if you care."
