"Be prepared for a lot of happy/nice people til you get the job and watch out for those evil women managers."

"What I didn't like working at MLN was that there were to many chiefs and not enough Indians. Some of the women managers really weren't helpful when it came to helping an associate become a better team player. Some of the women managers in the tax dept, wanted to complain but never wanted to help other associates."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The suggestions I have for managers is make sure there are more Male managers because to many of those female managers took their positions way over their heads. They needed to listen to more ideas of the staff and suggestions. When you hire new management they should be trained in the area they are suppose to be managing, because if you can't come to your manager when you need help then whom are you suppose to turn to. Need better training of specific areas, and when you ask for training and help that you not be ignored."

"What I didn't like about it was that they were strict on the process of closing a loan but not strict on the QC of loans which made them close down."

"The company had trouble a few years ago they lost all funding. Find out what how they are financed now to make sure they have a stable short-term/ long-term future."

"What is the company's new approach to this market place and going forward"

"Being able to wear shorts and T-Shirts... However, with the lax business attire, didn't quite understand the No Hat policy."

"Ask how the leads are distributed... Purchase or Refi, or both"

What don't you like about working at Mortgage Lenders Network ?

"Limited leads and quality of leads. Yes, I understand it's a company... And we should be thankful to get leads, period! However, it's an internet based business and you can't go out and beat the streets like conventional loan officers. And my team lead was a sorry excuse at that. His personal issues often interfered with business. If he worked 6 hours a day, I would be surprised."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The leads you provide. All purchase or all refi's. In different market changes, a loan officer has to be given a chance to perform... By making your loan officers do one or the other is handicapping the loan officer."
