Morris National Employee

"I worked at Morris National Full-time. I'm not sure where to begin or if this box will even allow me to type all the cons and how I felt of this employer! I blame myself for accepting the position here since my education and background exceeds the level of knowledge you will need at this place. I feel like it was the worst mistake & one can only learn and grow from it. Upper management in my department was the worst, I saw this person actually work less than half of the day since her work schedule started after 11am around the same time the owners would arrive, I say this because the first 3 hours of the day she would do her makeup, hair, talk on the phone and advise us not to talk to her because she has a headache. Since I started working here it was the same for almost every morning so I learned to just brush it off and ignore it. Regardless of this, I was treated unfairly by some coworkers and it was brought up 2 times, even though an apology was given, the over all feeling was very disingenuous. - There was no training and all work, approvals and samples were expected to be completed in a 2 -3 month period, at this point I cant exaggerated with the amount of work given to one person, as a designer I had to do over 100 chocolate and coffee boxes, in this type of industry a well organized and dedicated team knows a clear and structured schedule before production but this wasn't the case. - Lack of communication! The little to no communication given by upper management was ridiculous. They always told the team to ask questions, but how can one ask a question to someone who has no experience with design??? I had a question regarding artwork and what I could add or do to complete and send for approvals -"
