"Let them challenge and figure out what is the best for themselves to answer. If they choose honestly to answer the question. that's great!"

What don't you like about working at Morgan Stanley?

"I don't like to see people who worked on their own and weren't allowed to share some work with other peers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Communicate clearly to students your policy on responding or not responding to email messages. Set up a separate email address where students can email you. Check this email only when you plan to respond to student emails. Be clear with my peers about when I will be available, how often I check my email, and how much time they should allow for you to get back to them. Give students a deadline for sending questions electronically before exams and assignments. Let them know when you will stop responding to emails."

"Know your subject matter, or know a senior insider who has your back. It's all about, Who has your back."

"There are too many highly-paid managers who do nothing except push paperwork to the next higher-paid manager, who also does little or nothing, except to perpetuate the cycle."

"Give a higher regard to your employees - and not on paper because you have that covered and polished - real life is what I'm referring to."
