"I would give Moog Aircraft 0 stars I would, but the pay was decent so 1 star it is. They throw you into your role with a week's training and expect you to know years worth of information with no context. The employees are blatantly rude, most I have encountered have been there between 15-25 years and had already closed their networking circle. The interview was 5 hours long and they make the company seem like a paradise..the culture...the benefits...the trails! But when you get in and the honeymoon wears off you find it is no different from any other soul sucking corporate job. I dreaded every Monday because I knew I had to come in and look at everyone's depressed face. Maybe the company was great years ago as it has a cult like reputation in WNY - Moog is the best, Moog is a great company, once you're in you're gold. In reality it is an empty shell of what it makes itself out to be."
"I have been employed at the same place for over 37 years now but when Moog Aircraft Group took over is when it started on it's down hill run. At Moog if you are a team player (kiss ***, pass the buck, lie, cheat, backstab, frame others, have unrealistic expectations that you back due to complete ignorance etc.) Then you are safe to move up and be protected by upper management. The only other way up is to have an inside connection whether or not you know anything about the job has nothing to do with how fast you will advance. If you are a hard working individual and constantly go out of your way to achieve a better faster way of doing any task then you are reprimanded and the credit is given to one of those team players. You are constantly harassed by those in charge and told that you can not use time to do a task just get it done but do not charge any time on your daily job log. The management here continuously tells you falsify documents."
