What do you like about working at Microsoft?

"My likes are: always learning new technologies to add to my accomplishments, troubleshooting issues to resolution without having to escalate further, and working with various ops/dev teams and product managers in order to fulfill job tasks and responsibilities."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be aware there are a lot of things to learn up front, but all will start to fall into place quickly. The opportunities are everywhere, and as you work, you can be introduced to other IT processes that you might want to get involved in and seek formal training for. It can be very rewarding to work in the IT field."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"Some job tasks are limited to FTEs only, such as some advanced SQL updates and resolutions, preventing the ability to handle and close out issues without further escalation or assistance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have a bi-monthly meeting with my teams to evaluate where our job processes are at, asking what is working, what is not working, what could help the processes currently in place, and what could I do to assist the team."
