"Too much pigeon-holing and subtle looking down on is rife for employees at the operator level, funny thing is most of the operators from a a diversified background hold 1st and 2nd degrees and should be given room to grow."

"Have reviews with your employees. Give them room to grow. Let them also assess their supervisors and team leads as well. We're all human after all."

"Always free yourself enough for additional projects, those are the ones that get you furthest."

"I did not always feel appreciated. Politics made work more tedious/complicated than it had to be."

"The leadership team needs to focus and allow more for employee development career-wise and personally."

"I worked for Micron from 2010 to 2013. In that time I made senior technician and was eligible for management positions. However, in just 3 years I survived 3 rounds of layoffs. On the 4th round it was finally my turn. It's a great job if you have tenure, meaning in the same position forever. However, if you are motivated to advance, you will sooner than later be last on the totem pole for a layoff. Money and training are awesome. Great work environment... but semiconductor is very hard of its workforce."

They don't have a real intern program and I felt like I was just a number. I was limited in the work scope I was given. As a materials engineer, I felt that I had a lot of open opportunities to try different projects. I had to beg for half of my projects, and they weren't given to me until almost the end of my duration there."
