3.1I worked for Micro Focus for almost 1 1/2 years focused on their ITOM portfolio. I came on board through a good friend ( no longer there) and was hopeful the merger chaos of Micro Focus and HP Software was behind us, it was not. Multiple management changes, account changes made successfully selling a challenge. I NEVER deviated from putting 150% into my role, but as cutbacks and reductions began, I decided to "package out" and move on to my next opportunity. No regrets achieved some success, but not a healthy culture and culture is everything to me.
3.5I have been working for Micro focus since 2009. Nice working enticement, flexible, small development group about 20 developers, a little over 100 employee in this office most are sales people which make it so hard for a developer to grow and get advanced.
3.8The company was founded in 1976 and initially was focused on business-oriented computer programming languages, particularly COBOL.
In 2014, Micro Focus merged with the US-based Attachmate Group. It is now a single company which operates two product portfolios.
The Micro Focus portfolio consists of identity access and security solutions, COBOL development and mainframe solutions, development and IT operations management tools, host connectivity solutions and collaboration and networking solutions.
