"Michael Baker is a mid-sized, full-service engineering and planner firm that marries the attention to client detail of a small firm with the resources of a much larger firm. The firm has a strong reputation as a structural and transportation engineering organization and adds significant expertise in the water resources engineering and environmental planning markets."
"I've worked at Michael Baker for 3 years. I am very satisfied with the company, in fact, I love it. However, when moving from PA to NC they could not guarantee me a job until later this year. I am only leaving because of this reason. At MBI I started as a TA1 and worked my way up to a TA2. I received 3 raises during my time, and if I remained in PA I would have received my 4th. Along with that would be a position upgrade to a Transportation Inspector. I was a consultant to PennDOT and most of my work was done with them. However, when I did have to meet with my coworkers from MBI they loved my charisma and attitude. We often got together for lunch or even a beer. I would say we seemed a lot more like friends than coworkers. I am hoping to secure a bond in a friendly working environment just like I did at MBI and if that does not already exist I am ready to forge it with my positive attitude."
"Worked on a six-month contract stayed busy office management was a little shake especially HR unable to complete the easy task and it wasn't done they blame the worker. But the people you worked with were talented in their field of work."
