Numerous complaints have to be offered to management at Menards home office in Wisconsin regarding his inappropriate actions against employees and his rude behavior towards customers. He is demeaning to employees and often talks about his political affiliation to the far-right branch of the Republican party. Menards in Louisville has lost several assistant managers and a concerning percentage of workers under the reign of Hilfiker. If you go into our neighboring Lowe's or Home Depot and ask for former employees of Menards, you will hear stories about his leadership that begs the question of his ability to lead."

"The pros of working at Menards are that there are opportunities to move up, yearly bonuses, higher weekend pay, there is always a new project every day, and I have made long-life friends here! The cons are that the customers are not always the nicest to you and manager bias towards the employees. I would overall recommend it."
