"I work for MagaPath for 2 years. The original company name was IP5280. Very intelligent leadership, two partners were/are major persons of interest for the Telecom industry. Excellent company vision backed up by top of the line equipment and pro-active teams. Open door policy. Rated best company to work for in local business journal. Cons: weak back office, under staffed engineers, horrible client customer service. Churn and burn sales staff. Always hiring new staff. Poor compensation, benefits. Hours were super long and micro managed."

"I have worked for Megapath (formerly Covad Communications) since 1999 at their SAN JOSE office. MegaPath has office nationwide and employs approx 1050 employees.The Pros for me : Challenging and fun environment. Respect for the work done. Great team of peers, managers and engineers with whom I maintain a relationship to date. Excellent collaborative and superwork environment. I never had dull day since 1999. I also liked the independence in decision making and moving forward with decisions."

"the commute the fact that they ae a communications company and they don't let you work remote. They cannot install product correctly"

"let people do there job. Learn how to work with people on an individual basis"

"The company is gowing through growning pains and is a bit unorganized at this time."

"Stop, look and listen to the employees and the customers about services and processes."

"Fast paced, availability of access to various types of equipment such as cisco, redback and various other routers."

"Have strong networking skills and just be yourself! And come well dressed as if you want the job that you're applying for."

"There was a lack of access to documentation at times but the previous experience that I had allowed me to adapt to resolve the problem or escalate to the correct group."

"To always listen to their employee needs and desires. Sometimes the fast paced atmosphere would allow that to get pushed aside quite a few times."
