"Don't expect high end $ for your specialty, but know that Medica is a flexible company so if that is more important you may be a fit."

What don't you like about working at Medica?

"As an IT employee, it is not a whole lot of fun to work in an environment where the actual work is outsourced and I have to work more as a babysitter of the outsourced provider than an actual IT employee."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of the Not an IT company mentality. Sure, Medica is a health insurance company but the entire IT staff is an IT organization and needs to be treated like one."
