"I worked for MediaFire for a couple of years. Overall, it was a good place to work. No one was just a number there. The owners took great care of all of us. Supervisors were fair and honest. However, you were expected to come in on weekends or stay late when they needed something done. Just a heads-up."

The layoff was caused by profits being way less than expected following the release of a new product. Management doesn't listen to their employees or customers. That being said, they did offer great benefits. The coworkers and work environment made the place a lot better to work at, and as a whole they made it a better company to work for than some others."

"MediaFire was my first job out of college, and it was a great place to work as a beginning job that offered competitive pay, and a great working environment. The staff was very nice and easy to get along with. The company just had to downsize though, and laid off about 30 people including myself, and pretty much had to go back to its root in Web development instead of the Desktop expansion which I was a part of. So aside from that, if you're a web developer, this would be a great place."
