"Some of higher management played politics for themselves instead of looking out for their own."

"Keep everything equal. In other words, if someone qualifies for a higher position, give it to him instead of giving it to someone you like as a friend who doesn't qualify."

"I liked that it was close to my home. I liked my coworkers. The actual work was easy."

"ask lots of questions and get a clear picture of what your job entails before accepting this job"
What don't you like about working at Griswold Controls?
"My boss was secretive and generally a good engineer but a horrible manager. Getting information regarding tolerances, system specs or guide lines was like Pulling teeth. He said he wanted us to follow the ASME/ANSI 14.5 1994 drafting specifications but didn't understand how to apply them. He would not admit when he was wrong and blamed others when caught."

"I was surrounded by engineers who truly cared about what they were doing. It was a great feeling to be able to design a part in the engineering building, then see it made in front of you, in the factory."

"Know your stuff because you will be working with high caliber people."

"Sadly, the pay just didn't suffice my expenses of the time. Needed to pay back my loans, and couldn't if I stayed there."
