"We are paid fairly. It is a large company but we have a small crew at this location."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This would be a great company if the processes were more defined and streamlined. I feel like we're all a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off. And we've got someone with an ego as our local manager who wants to run things his way, no matter whether they coincide with how corporate wants things done."
What don't you like about working at McQuay International?
"Upper mgmt has no clue as to how local mgmt runs things behind the scenes. Local mgmt believes in keeping issues internal (in other words, secret) and not disclosing all the facts about re-work and engineering errors."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Upper management needs to get serious about our facility and become more in depth in our processes. There need to be more checks and balances. No more, I'm the king, do as I say from local managment."

"The people and direct managers that I reported to. The process was very interesting and I had hands on."

"Be honest and keep a open mind. Always be ready for change and be an agent of it."

"There wasn't any negatives but at the time I had to commute from home to Staunton"
