"McD's is as McD's does. It is not the worst place you can work at, and it's not the best. There's good stuff and bad stuff. What they like to call a "mixed bag". It's usually pretty easy, ya just gotta pay attention and do the same things every day. Lower those expectations and the anger just melts away! Speaking of melting, working in the grill area is hot, cramped and demanding. THIS IS A JOB, SONNY JACK! IT AIN'T CALLED "SHOW UP AND GET PAID!". YOU GOTTA EARN YOU DAT MONEY. RONALD MC DON'T JUST GIVE IT AWAY! McDonalds is a place to work where you will get paid and do a job. Whether you cry yourself to sleep at night, or just douse your soul with apathy is purely up to you."
"I've worked for McDonald's for 3 years. I can only work weekends. Their hours are flexible. I am a single mom."
"It's a great place to start up but it doesn't pay as well as other jobs do."
"I've worked at McDonald's for a year. I would recommend working for McDonald's for business, not as a cook, customer service at a restaurant."
"It's a McDonald's where they provide quality food and customer service. It is a great place to work for a while."
"Horrible workplace... very fast paced."
"Not as exciting as it used to be, no overnight premium."
"I've worked for this corporation since 2011. One of the supervisors gave me a chance and haven't left yet. Sure working fast food has it's problems but the corporation is ever strong."
"I've worked for the Woodville, Ohio McDonalds for about 4 and a half years. I've been taught leadership, teamwork, goal setting skills and have improved my ability to multitask and problem solve."
"Fun and a good learning experience."
"I've been working at McDonalds since May 2010. My overall review of the company is that it provides a backbone for team work and in a fast paced environment."
"I've worked in McDonald's since 2012. It's a good company with a nice work environment."
"I just started working again at Mcdonalds Cooperation. It was and still is a high energetic experience in which I feel I fit well in."
"It's sort of a crappy work place, you always feel gross when you leave. I feel like the company treats you like an ant, as it were. Inferior, in some way, to them. The store manager is nice, and most of the crew are nice too, but the area managers (people who actually own the local McDonalds) come in, yell at everyone, and leave. There are next to no benefits, and the owner is a complete cheapskate. I get 10 hours a week for my 45 submitted available, so I have a heck of a time making ends meet."
"This location is a franchise and doesn't offer the opportunity that a corporate store would. The pay is not as good either."
