"While I enjoy the fast paced environment, I was hired under the pretenses of a culture change. Communication between management with the production department as well as all other intertwining departments is a major challenge. These communication challenges make day to day work very chaotic. On a positive note, the schedule of four days on, three days off one week and three days on, four days off the next week is very fulfilling."
"I've worked at Mastronardi for a few years now and I'm finding out it is just like a big high school with low pay. If the state average pay is higher why can't employees receive close to the average."
"Mastronardi Produce has a fantastic group of people who work for it, however, the upper management team was horrible. It was very difficult to get new ideas and processes approved when the management team was so stuck on one idea. I wouldn't recommend anyone work here, as there is little growth potential within the company. The management team has severely hindered the potential of this company, and it really shows."
"Lots of work no advancement at MasteronardI Produce!"

What don't you like about working at Mastronardi Produce?
"Family owned company claims they want structure and new ideas. Not true. If you don't know someone or play the game, you are outcast and will fail. I have seen it with the tons of firings. Upper Management does not have a clear idea of how to get the job done, they fly by the seat of their pants. Count on working a ton of hours without addition compensation, including both shifts at a moments notice, weekends, and holidays too. A frustrating place to work and most all the employees will say they live on the edge each day since they have no idea what the direction is. As much as they claim they want change, they don't. You cannot trust what is being told to you and for that reason I cannot recommend this employer. I was lucky I got out when I did."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get a clear direction and make it a policy for everyone."
"The company is good the management not so good."
