"I worked exclusively with the contracting agency and spent little to no time with the company. Management was fairly hands-off."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If working for Masterkey or plan on joining their firm in the near future know that you better keep your paid time off down to the bare minimum so that you cannot be hustled out of money you have earned."

What don't you like about working at MasterKey Consulting?

"I have been cheated out of my earned 32 hours of paid time off from Masterkey Consulting. I worked for Masterkey for 9 months. I was moved to Masterkey when the prior company (Company A) I worked for lost their government contract. The government agency wanted to keep me at my position so they found Masterkey to take me in. Since then the government agency has decided to move my position to yet another contracting company (Company C). While at Masterkey I accrued over 30 hours of paid time off (or leave). Upon leaving Masterkey to work with Company C, I was told that I would not be paid for my paid time off because I had not been with Masterkey for a year, as this is company policy. My joining or leaving Masterkey was not of my own doing. No one from management informed me that I would lose my benefits. Enforcing of a company policy seems quite unfair here as I have no control over my staying. I was not offered another position within Masterkey. For their lack of flexibility in the face of a policy that is unfair (in this situation) I do not recommend using Masterkey as a pass through."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Flexibility is an asset that shows your value your employees and punishing them with policy when the situation is no one's fault is damaging to the company."
