"It really is a great company to work for as long as you get a good department and good manager."

What don't you like about working at Marriott International?

"The office environment is horrible. People don't understand that every job is different and requires different demands and they want to blanket certain rules for certain people and that doesn't work. There is one manager who tried to manager the office with an iron fist- mostly for hourly employees & treats hourly employees with complete disrespect."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would make the office environment more enjoyable. All departments are on their own which is reasonable but nothing is done to bring the office together. Everyone goes to the receptive corners. It is not a pleasant work environment."
