"Being in the industry for about 5 yrs I’ve been privileged to work with a lot of strong and skilled individuals. MARRIOTT is a good work environment and care about their owners. It does depend on what department you’re in though as to where you stand in the totem pole."

"The JW Marriott is a great place to work if you are looking for a routine schedule. They offer great benefits and perks and in general are a leader in the hotel and hospitality industry. However, I think its very important to note that most hotels in the Los Angeles area have a union in place which can work both in your benefit or be a detriment to what you may be looking for in a work environment."

"Busy work environment with your clients being top executives in companies all over the world! Never work long hours like you would most places in this business. Great employee benefits package and amazing group of individuals you’ll make great friends with. However, no room to advance. Whatever job you start with, expect to end with."

"I’ve worked for various Marriott brands for 16 years in a sales role. I find Marriott to be an outstanding organization to be a part of however, their franchise management companies are not always up to par. You never know what kind of people you will be working for in a franchised Marriott and many times they do not adhere to Marriott standards and expectations."

"I worked for Marriott OceanWatch Villas as a management internship required for graduating. The people who work here truly love what they do and want not only customers to be happy but employees as well. Company events are a monthly occurrence and they range from team building exercises to ice cream socials to The Amazing Race competitions. I really enjoyed working for this company."
