"I worked for Maracay Homes for 2 years as a PM. It has its pros and cons. Overall, the company tries to be something that it's not—it claims to be family-oriented and more innovative and essentially nicer than other companies, but they cut corners and put insane expectations on their employees. It seems like every month, there is some new responsibility that they place on their employees without any kind of benefit. The push for bonuses is part of the industry, but Maracay definitely perpetuates it, and the employees take the fall for poor management. The pay is decent, and the benefits are ok."
