"Was acquired by Mantech a little under 3 years ago as an intern and allowed myself and others shine under the spotlight with little or no experience. A small team, we were ready to do great things. As our team grew the experience and knowledge grew as well, with great ideas turned into reality. Later down the road, an unforeseen and tragic event occurred. The contract was depleting of funds and fewer and fewer members ceased to exist (on the contract). And now is the time I say my farewell."

"Great company, but they care about the bottom line, not employees."

What do you like about working at ManTech?

"Great flexibility, solid benefits, and they're willing to work with you in most cases."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest above anything all else. The company cares about integrity, not performance. They want performers, don't get me wrong, but they really want people who are reliable and honest first and foremost."

What don't you like about working at ManTech?

"Zero employee loyalty and no faith in staff. The corporate culture cares more about the bottom line than the employees. Good, solid employees were laid off so execs could buy iPads, causing morale to plummet. It was all done in the name of maximizing our bottom line. Caused a lot of animosity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Understand that if you treat employees well you'll make money. All companies exist for profit, but there's a point where if your employees believe in the company they'll put out better worse. If they're disillusioned it's not going to benefit the company or the employee both."

"Some definite weak points, but overall a rewarding experience technically"

What do you like about working at ManTech?

"I was able to work with new technologies, and was quickly put in charge of a new collaboration tool, DCTS, which brought multiple organizations together. I liked being responsble for making sure everyone could collaborate with each other."

What don't you like about working at ManTech?

"The newly hired Mantech manager threatened to blacklist me after I gave a three week notice when I was taking an overseas assignment with the same military organization, because the military officers needed my expertise at the forward HQ. Was very disturbing to a new civilian essentially fresh out of the military and new to the corporate world."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Nothing, really. This manager was a Colonel who had just gotten out of the service and was tasked with growing the ManTech market share in Tampa. I realize he was under pressure, but a less understanding employee might view the entire company negatively instead of just the manager."
