It would be interesting to see a full case study of Magellan vs Garmin, because they both started about the same time with similar products. Why did Garmin go on to thrive while Magellan is headed toward failure? Working with Pierre Parent, the president, was great, but the parent company is not interested in spending the time or money to save this business."
