"To continue the morning pep meetings."

"I got called in very frequently... too frequently...to planning meetings during the week so I could not make a committment to school."

"find alternate ways to communicate with off-shift supervisors"

"I loved my Team and the way the company embraces diversity. Information sharing was greatly improving when I left. I was also selected for a 2008 Gift of Sight mission, which I was unable to fulfill, since I was downsized prior to the mission."

"Don't falsify who you are and what you bring to the table, BE YOU!!!! HR is a very competent team and one of the best I've worked with in my career."

What don't you like about working at Luxottica?

"The opportunities for advancement were very few within HR. Work-life balance within MANY teams, ie. Finance and Accounting was oftentimes non-existent."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be honest with your teams on the State of the Company and be sensitive to the needs of associates. DO whatever you can to provide work/life balance. Realize that an associate may not the performing at their potential in their current position but will set the world on fire in another. Be willing to take a chance on your CURRENT associates."

"Outside sales and dealing with the doctors."

"loose the H.R. manager, he don't have a clue, he has a 'neopoleon' complex"

"It is a great entry-level starting position. You will gain experience, but you will be hindered by your initial wage. Negotiate up front or you will be disappointed in the future."

"The lack of accountability and the lack of expertise to mentor new hires."

"Continue seeking avenues to build management skills and be consistent."

"I think it had alot of opportunities if you were in the right department. It is large enough that there are alot of open positions you can move around."

"Ask about the hours and the department culture because it does vary around the very large building."

"Unfortunally, if you are in certian departments you are expected to work ALOT of hours and it can be hard to transfer out."

"Spend more time with the people so you know what the are capabile of."

"There was a lack of opportunities within the company to advance."

"I would have to suggest better selling techniques as I designed a customer experience in my store that was used as a model."

"The ability of take risks and grow your business. The people working there were outstanding and seemed like my second family. Everyone cooperated to get work done and the energy level was very high. Most days I couldn't wait to get to work as the people were great and the challenges were great."
