They take every opportunity to ship the work to the offshore crew in Bosnia, where 3 people do the work of one local. Sneaky, political, and paranoid managers. Perma-temps that have been there 5+ years and are just milking it...Stay away, far away."

"I worked for LPS for almost 5 years and it started off well, but it did not end well. As our office started to shrink, the morale dropped as well and was never really re-gained. Then there were some miscommunications with layoffs that probably put people in bad situations right before Christmas."

"They were close to implementing agile. They worked as a team with software testers. They made extensive use of Team Foundation Server."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Emphasize that you're a hard worker and you're OK with working on older or less mainstream technologies such as Telerik Reports and ASP.NET webforms. Emphasize your experience with ASP classic and VBScript."

What don't you like about working at Lender Processing Services?

"I simply didn't want to assist in kicking people out of their homes. One of our biggest customers was Bank of America, and I'm not particularly fond of how they run their business."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Seriously consider moving into other services because demand for foreclosure processing isn't going to last forever."
