"Good people in a declining newspaper industry with top heavy management."
"I worked for various incarnations of the same company for 32+ years. The news industry is changing constantly these days. One problem with LANG and their parent company Digital First Media is top-heavy management, with little knowledgeable, working middle management remaining to lead and train personnel in the various departments. Those that remain are bogged down by filling in for low staffing and filling out endless reports to multiple bosses. Another problem is when budgets aren't met, they automatically turn to eliminating employees, thus making it harder to get the work done."
