"We have far too many employees on indirect pay to be competitive (labor rate wise) with many other Defense contractors."

"Though the defense industry has a reputation for being an easy, lavish job with high security, that hasn't been true for most engineers for several years."

"Rotating shifts are not great and turnover is very high."

"I would ensure that programs were not reducing benefits and salary bands when the company is experiencing record profits."
