"I did not like that my owner had a gambling problem and lost his money and was forced to close."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My only suggestion would be to not involve company money in personal life."
What do you like about working at Foundation Financial Group?
"My co workers were awesome. Sometimes my managers would roll out contests to leave early or have 2 hr lunches if we reached a set goal."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not interview. Do not go to the Realistic Job Preview. Do not accept the offer. Do not come to work on your first day! RUN! They will tell you turnover is 0%. THIS IS A LIE. 11 people have left FFG in Raleigh alone since my start date on June 4, 2012."
What don't you like about working at Foundation Financial Group?
"1) The hours are from 9 am - 7 pm and 9-5 on Fridays. Lunch is extra long (an hour and a half). No work life balance.2) Coworker has a son with epilepsy; she literally has to beg to get time off to run him to appointments, and even then she gets ridiculed when she comes back.3) Underdeveloped management Team - most of the managers were promoted within 3-5 months of their start date. Just because you can pass a series of mortgage exams and you show up to work on time does not make you suitable to manage others.4) Managers gossip A LOT!!!5) Upper management does not care about ANYONE but them selves and they don't try to hide it. They are salesmen who use the same tactics they teach us to use with the customers against us. 6) The pay is BAD!!! $11/hr if you are an AMT but if you are a Marketing Professional $8.50/hr. Then once you go through all the hoops of getting licensed and promoted to a loan officer your pay goes up to a whopping $12/hr.All in all my coworkers were amazing we are all around the same the age and understood each other. We had fun together. I loved the people I worked with but not the people I worked for."

"If I was running the show I would do EVERYTHING differently, DO NOT WORK HERE! RUN!!!"

"Be yourself, and clear on your goals, aspirations, and the environment you would like to be in."

"Not being a team. This includes honest work ethic, and forthright with employees."

"Team work, honesty, and sincerity, and room for development, and flexibility with time."
What do you like about working at First Call Mortgage?
"I really liked doing the marketing for the loan officers, I really go to be creative."

"The company is currently out of business so there is no hiring."
What don't you like about working at First Call Mortgage?
"When I was a loan officer it was tough when the rates went up and it was a bit more difficult to get loans"

"The company went out of business so I really cannot say too much now"

What do you like about working at South Coast Mortgage?
"The Opportunity to make a lot of money. I worked for a Mortgage Company that had its own credit line. We funded our own loans."

"This company is no longer in business. They had to close down the company when the real estate market collapsed."
What don't you like about working at South Coast Mortgage?
"The company was very small, however it resulted in more leads for the few loan officers that we did have working there."

"I wouldnt have made any suggestions. I think the company was well ran for the size of it, and for the economic times that were approaching us."

"There is really not a reason for not liking this company."

"Any time a suggestion was made the company took notice and applied to what was needed, which was great!"

"As long as you are willing to work hard, you will find success."

"Not really anything. The negative would be dealing with difficult borrowers."

"Keep up the good work. Have more support and training."

"Fire a few specific people and be on the lookout for DFI violations if not"

"It is a good company and was sold in the good time and was purchased by a good person."

"I would not recommend this to anybody (from my experience), but it may be good for other people. No one knows."

"Not too much, this company has a very complicated human relationship."

"It should be as simple as possible and taken as the American way."

"no salary, commissions are low, no leads provided, unhealthy work place, too sedentary, company not willing to upgrade with the times"

"Make a more progressive work place, stand up desks, salary plus commision"

What do you like about working at Community Loans of America?
"I miss the co-workers and employees who all worked tooth and nail to complete the tasks assigned to all of us daily. I also miss the majority of my customers, who actually understood the idea behind what business they were interacting with."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very careful, they will make it sound very easy to switch from lending to collecting, but its a job that will make you play Jakel and Hyde with yourself."
What don't you like about working at Community Loans of America?
"Micro Middle Management, daily threats of termination. Unfair and unrealisitc expecations of store employees. Task lists that could be done easily with one additional person on staff, having two days a week with only one person makes tasks that much harder."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire middle management teams that actually care about employees. Compensate employees for milage on their personal vehicles when they are running company errands, (like bank, dmv, and post office), and while marketing. Do not lecture employees when customers pay their bills (particularly at tax time), and do not re-loan."
What do you like about working at Great Western Financial Group?
"I was the processing manager.had training capabilities, and was directly responsible to the branch manager."

"This company is no longer in business, as I am aware of at this date."

"I left the company when things were not properly being handled."

"They need to try to do a better job of recruiting and hiring Loan Officer"

What do you like about working at USA Home Loans?
"I had the freedom to generate my own clients and expand to various counties."

"I would suggest that they get all options in writing and that those would not change for at least a year."
What don't you like about working at USA Home Loans?
"After being hired based on certain gaurantee's those were changed to things that would have changed my desision to leave PNC Bank."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stick to the plan and stop trying to micro manage."
