"I have worked for LKQ-Keystone Automotive Operations for a little over a year and a half. It is a good company, but the management directives change it seems daily. The team of higher ups is constantly changing and everyone has different directions. I work for a small satellite office in Elkhart, IN away from the headquarters. The automotive industry is too up and down for my preference, and can be unsteady at times."

"It was cliquish, and I was at times left out of important meetings that could have helped me grow."

"Benefits is really the only plus, maybe other workers that can sympathize with you."

"Wait for anything better, you will live in misery here."

"Everything else, the lies, cheating, cover ups, blaming the low man on the totem pole."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Sell to a company that respects employees or get out of the industry, this company will probably fall hard once someone finds enough people to sue you for falsifying documents."

"The cubes where nice and quiet, they gave you two monitors."

"Stay quiet and only answer what is asked. They don't want to know about you."

"Some of the people in supervisor positions are clearly not qualified. The lower level employees are more educated and work harder than the managers."

"Get rid of the bank recon supervisors and let the coordinators do their jobs."

"While owned by M Haggerty, the job was terrific. I was a trusted member of the management team and was treated with respect."

"Get any promises in writing before committing to the company."

What don't you like about working at LKQ Corporation?

"When the companies were sold, LKQ mislead me as to my future with the company until the conversion process was complete, then my position was eliminated."

"Honesty with employees. They've developed quite a bad reputation in the way employees are treated."

"I feel after several years of experience there was no room for me to advance within the company ."

"To consider a persons past experience when a better position is being offered. Also to consider their performance and attendence."
